Very sad to see they didn't play Smile for Laura.

But we will keep this thread going in her honor. :)
  • As long as Hippiemom and her daughter were smiling last night... that's all that counts. :)
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

Sadly we werent heard. Sorry for Laura's daughter. Hope she still enjoyed the show. I am sure her mum was smiling.

    :)

yea...it just hit me today - finally checking setlist threads, etc...no smile for laura. :( however, GREAT setlists all the way round for the show thus far! and i am sure laura's daughter had a blast....and for that......laura should be smiling. live pearl jam always creates :).

    much, much love...
three crooked hearts and swirls all around
    i miss you all day
    :)
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

I'm sorry for asking this late in a thread, but who is Laura?
  • I think this can finally put to rest the debate on whether the guys frequent the board.

I can't say that I blame them, as 90% of the stuff in here is crap.

But I do think if they knew about this they would've dusted it off.

I'm sure they still hear about things said on this board, including requests. I believe Satan's Bed at State College in 2003 was proof of that.

Smile would have been a perfect song for Bonnaroo, but I don't think it would have suited Ed's mood that night. He did seem down for quite a few songs and had my wife in tears for No More and Release.

Maybe they will play Smile when they return to Bonnaroo.
