Hi guys, I've got tickets for both Manchester shows and I'd love to get to Isle Of Wight for Pearl Jam, not to mention Noely G, Vaccines and Elbow... But the music starts the day after the second Manchester date! I was just wondering if anybody is going to that Manchester show and then driving off to IOW through the night or like early next morning? If you are doing that and you have a spot in your car I can put up more than my share of petrol money for the favour, also I am very nice :D

Please let me know here or email me at josh.roberts.wonderwall@gmail.com asap, I've not bought an IOW ticket yet but the second somebody confirms they can get me there I'll be forking out for one.
Thanks a lot, big love.

Josh

  • Ah c'mon guys, it really is as simple as if I can't find a lift I can't go :(
If you have any friends or anything you think might have room then pass on my email to them?
    Thanks millions!

It looks like there's a National Express coach from Manchester at 23:59 which gets into Portsmouth (for Ferryport) at 10:10, think it's £40 but that might be your best option.

Yeah, long time isn't it. It's coach to London, 2 hours in London then another coach, least they allow a break for breakfast though!

You could get a flight to Southampton first thing the next morning? About 50 bucks I think...

  • Thanks for all the advice and pointers, I'm gonna be looking at public transport tomorrow because now my girlfriend's coming too, probably reducing the chances of getting a lift somewhere.

    Thanks again.
