This sounds awesome for hardcord Metallica fans!
What does everyone think of the other bands on the bill?
If You Like Crunchy Guitar Riffs, Powerful Vocals, Melodic Guitar Solos, And Meaningful Lyrics..then you need to check out one of the most refreshing new hard rock bands in quite some time...-->The Liberty Underground<--
don't know, i'll judge when i see the full line up, as for the full albums, i know what your saying, i'd rather if they wanted to play full albums, play all the songs in a random order.
8/15/92, 9/28/96, 8/28/98, 8/29/98, 9/18/98, 8/3/00, 8/9/00, 8/10/00, 8/23/00, 8/25/00, 9/1/00, 9/2/00, 4/28/03, 6/18/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 10/1/04, 10/3/05, 6/19/08, 10/27/09, 10/31/09, 5/21/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 10/21/13
More to Come....
damn. i would love to go, especially for the bolded.
and if roky is there, the black angels will probably play with him and, fuck man, i'd really love to see that. if only i could go.
So true 10 years of brilliance followed by 20 of mediocrity .
Death Magnetic was very good.

Those people wouldn't have listened to the first 4 then.
8/15/92, 9/28/96, 8/28/98, 8/29/98, 9/18/98, 8/3/00, 8/9/00, 8/10/00, 8/23/00, 8/25/00, 9/1/00, 9/2/00, 4/28/03, 6/18/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 10/1/04, 10/3/05, 6/19/08, 10/27/09, 10/31/09, 5/21/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 10/21/13

I respect your opinion. For the longest time I hated anything past the first half of the Black Album, but Death Magnetic just stood out to me when I finally gave it a shot. They sounded younger and more more exciting than they had in decades. I'll never argue with anyone that it's better than their first four, but it's my personal fave.
Each to their own i guess, I like it a lot, but i agree its not a patch on the first 4 albums. my personal fav is ride the lightning. if they could re-create that era then we'd be laughing.
Pretty much....Everything since Justice has been pretty hit or miss. DM is definitely a product of the "return to roots" hype combined with the expectation level being so low after St. Anger.
I guess we can't say that's totally different from PJ. They've had pretty similar career progressions. Even great bands can't keep the creative spark forever.
Fair point
I'll probably be going. Looking forward to it.
