One of the funniest things i saw during the Pearl Jam tour...

And it's not entirely PJ related...

In the parking lot after the 2nd LA show, they had a guy come around w/a hot dog cart type thing, and a few of us bought hot dogs, then when we went back over to our cars, we ran into a few other jammers, and i was complaining about how i needed to er.. use the restroom and couldn't find a public one. Well, turns out there was a little 'Baywatch' type hut thing right near our cars, and they told me to go up the stairs and have a look, and sure enough there were about 30 beer cups full of the stuff. It was so fucking funny. I didn't add to it, i was laughing too hard, and instead found a bush.

I was reminded of this while reading a comment Ed made in the '10 after Ten' article i read late last night.

Me. Carrying a bag of ice around at the Gorge to keep myself cool. Funny thing is, everyone wished they had one; even the employees and security people. :D

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

  • this chick was so drunk and high at the ACC. She sparked up a joint and security came down to kick her out, when he shined his flashlight in her face she thought it was the spotlight on stage and the show was starting...she got up and started cheering and going nuts. to her luck she got booted

Ugh. As if I needed any reminder on me skipping out on Venice. There's only so many shows and cities I can squeeze into this trip.

So many things I want to see, so little time. Guess there's always a next time, when I could do a proper backpacking trip through Europe.

Bloody band just had to get in the way with their shows. How inconsiderate!

I'd say the funniest thing I saw on the 2006 PJ tour was the circle jerk in the gorge campground. 6 guys cumming all over some perfectly willing girl. Classic. This was about 3am after the 1st show.

  • The funniest was Ed and Jeff at the Paris show, at the end of the gig.

Ed did what Zidane did to Materrazzi during the world Cup final (head kick into his chest)

    Very funny !
Still waiting for a gig in Paris (in a venue not a festival) since 2006...

Prolly cause I was sooo tired and wanted to go to bed.
It was fun, yeah, but the whole trip and the show exhausted me :(

I was haning out at the end of the table with Americans, Belgians, one South African guy and lots of other nationalities. I believe you were somewhere in the middle or at the other end, according to pics ive seen ;) This tour we'll meet :D
