pm and general question

I sent a PM to Root and the message is in my "outbox" and next to the msg it states "Sent: 03 Feb 2012 16:09.” I am assuming the message was sent to Root, but I am not sure if the message is sitting in my "outbox" and waiting for me to do something else to send it. Was it was really sent or not.

Can anyone help this newbie understand?

OK, this may be a D.A. Question too, but when a person posts and then receives a response what does it mean when the original person that posted the message responds with "bump."

    to answer your questions

a pm stays in your outbox until the recipient reads it and 'bump' is a quick way to move a thread back to the top of the list

    now...

why did you send a pm to 'root'?

Since I am a novice at this, I wanted Roots thoughts on a message I was going to post regarding some extra tickets to Eddie's shows. I also felt the post might be too long. I am basically looking for some feedback from someone that is experienced without embarrassing myself. If that was a bad thing to do it was not meant to be.

    Thank you for your help.
