Our faces, they change

digital and monotonous:

as the memories
claw

when the vibrations
stall
on the floor.

throat drought-ridden.

arbitrarily,

regardless of honor or truth.

But we still sing
alone in the dark
as the memories
cling
to the walls.

pours
out the halls.
