Downloading Melb 3 as we speak....
Will be downloading Sydney 3 next, which will cover all 5 shows I attended.
Then, based on the ridiculous reviews and setlists, I'll probably need to get the rest of the tour!
:-)
Tossing up between Melb 1 & 2...Melb 2 seems to have a better setlist...and Indifference at the end is makin me lean towards it at the moment...but I'm not sure...

Melb1 and Adel1 and 2
Also get Newcastle because of the rave reviews and setlist
And I imagine Perth will be good
And then fuckit, I'll get the rest!
Sydney 1 is fantastic most of the way through, Black is beautiful, but I felt they were kinda running out of steam by the end, Throw Your Hatred Down and RITFW sound kinda flat.
Sydney 2 is suprisingly awesome considering the average crowd. It does however have the worst version of Life Wasted I've ever heard.
Brisbane 1 has been hyped up to the max by everybody who was there but the boot really didn't do much for me. The sound is a bit worse than on the first two shows, Ed's vocals and Matt's drums sound very echo-ey to my ears. I'm guessing perhaps that the venue had worse acoustics than the Sydney shows which can't be helped but it did ruin my enjoyment of it a tad.
I've got Bris 2 but skipped it, went straight to Melb 1 which is the highlight so far for me. The band is TIGHT and Ed is in fine voice, would've been a great show to be at. Sound quality is way better than Bris 1, everything is very clear and present.
I'll go back to Bris 2 next, I was just anxious to hear Melb 1 as I love the setlist.
I've got high hopes for the rest of the shows, some great stuff to look forward to on the boots, especially Sydney 3 and Adelaide 1 (doesn't hurt that I was there for that one...).

7/11/06 - Sydney 1
18/11/06 - Sydney 3
19/11/06 - Newcastle Baby!
I haven't got Melbourne 1 yet but Melbourne 2 is amazing, it opens with Go, and then has Last exit, Low light, Glorified g, Thumbing my way and Leash.
its my favourite of the aussie shows so far
You don't know echo til you've heard Brisbane 1! Sounds like they're playing in aircraft hanger.
Echo!-co-co-co-co...
must be faithful to listen to it then eh haha
Ha! It's not unlistenable or anything, please don't let me dissuade anybody from purchasing Bris 1 if you want to. I just found it very hard to get into the show because of the audio quality, but I guess different venues have different acoustic problems to overcome when mixing the boots.

Only if nobody hears...
Melbourne 3 was the greatest show I've been to in my life (and that includes band like U2, Queen and Pink Floyd). Haven't downloaded any boots yet as I only have dial up, but am getting broadband soon so I'm getting all Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney 2, both Adelaide and Perth (and that's just for beginners).
I highly recommend Melbourne 3...excellent excellent stuff. just makes me want to kick myself for not being there (and being halfway across the world).
If you are lookin at the European shows...I would give my thumbs up for Berlin!

The band sound quite tight in all 3... the crowd comes through quite well in Sydney 3...
Will prolly get newcastle next just for the set list.
Then go for melbourne 1 and 2...
Plan to eventually get the rest over weeks to come...
Its about AUD$240 for all the aussie shows in flac
Need frequent buyer bonus schemes!

Melb 3 is f*cking brilliant!!! it's worth getting just for the awesome versions of long road, sad & present tense (plus possibly the best version of dissident i've heard).
I'm willing to trade with anyone who's got some of the other aussie shows.
but how the hell do u do it? and do u need a credit card?
itd be awesome if they still released all their boots on cd....
