    CRUUUUUZ!!!!!!!!

    I very much look forward to seeing Theo in a Giants jersey. :P
    :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
    Where are you from?? All your PJ shows, except for one, were in NEW ENGLAND! :roll:

    GO PATS!!!

    PS... I prefer blue squares. ;)

    Why must my location determine my team affiliation?
    :roll:
    The same reason that you're American if you were born in America. You don't just say, "Ya know, my favorite food is sushi, they're wonderful at technology, and there's really some beautiful scenery over there... I think I'll be Japanese."

    OK, bad example, 'cause I guess you could migrate and gain citizenship somehow :lol:

    But tell me this... would you go to your kid's soccer game and cheer for the other town's team because, I don't know, maybe they've had a great record for the last decade, or their coach is a saint, or you're dad played for them 50 years ago, or their striker is your most favorite player of all time, or their uniforms are cooler? Umm, no! You would cheer for your kid AND his team (even when they suck) for the most important reason: because your kid is a part of you.

    It's called "home team" for a reason... because they represent your home, which is a part of who you are. IMO, the home team should be supported by its community, through thick and thin.

    I mean, I don't even know where you live, or if you have kids, or the reason your allegiance lies elsewhere... but I suppose you're excused if you grew up somewhere else, or if you were forced to live here and don't actually "identify" yourself as being a New Englander. (In which case, you better be a New Yorker instead, to be cheering for them!) :D
    OOOhhh...Your one of THOSE people...

    ;)
    :lol::clap:

    I think while we wait for said photo of GC in a Giants jersey he should be required to put an image of a Giants jersey as his avatar.

    Your equation doesn't equate. Yes my son is part of me, and I will root for him because of that (well not only, but still). Conversely, tell me one player from your "hometown" team that actually comes from that hometown and represents the city in some "authentic" way. I mean Ray Lewis is a symbol of B'more (good and bad), and he's not even from here. So you're telling me I have to root for the Ravens b/c of some nostalgic, yet outdated belief that these teams represent my city? No they take our money build stadiums with it, and give next to nothing back to our cities. Who made these rules? Does it make anyone feel better because they "did what they were told" and rooted for their hometown teams? Why?
