Is this weird...?

I have been listening to all the albums again in order of release, and as I am rediscovering things about each one, I have come to the realizatiom that.....No code is my favourite album, yet it does not contain my favourite song/s....
Is this weird, or is this the case for anyone else?

  • maybe not, No Code is easily my favourite album, and not only does it not have my favourite song, but it does have my least favourite
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

It's not weird. For example, Exile on Main St. Is my favorite Rolling Stones album, but it doesn't have my favorite individual songs. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, I suppose.
  • not weird at all, for me it's the other way about, even though I like it a lot, No code is my least fav album, but it contains my fave song, Red Mosquito...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

haha exactly the opposite of me..,

I think its normal. My fav is Vitalogy, yet my fav song is on Ten. Also Vitalogy includes some stuff that i wouldnt even put in my top 100, but the album as a whole is great.

I don't hate it, I just can't get excited by it, compared to other songs I find it a little beige

I think Red Mosquito is a better live song than studio song.

  • I think there is nothing weird in your feeling.
    It's just personal taste. ;)
Instead, I cannot realize which is my favourite song, if I have to select just one of them!
And also for the albums... My preference changes together with my age, my mood, my feelings....
