Please stop ruining threads for people with rude comments.

If you think something is too much $ just use a PM, instead of publicly making someone who may not know: The rules, or average prices of an item, feel like an ass.

I just feel bad seeing people trying to sell and item, and get berated in it. People may need the money pretty bad, don't mess it up for them.

I've seen it happen a lot..be there to help them, not make them look like a child.

I think the only thing to put on a thread is about the rules, make sure they list a price.

As for other comments, like you say if you don't like the price either walk away or try and negotiate. Simples.

The best comments I like is when people say a PJ20 dvd or vinyl or the backpack is too high a price and sell for face value when these people wouldn't sell a Benny vinyl for face

if someone is not follwing the rules, ie not putting a price, then I'd say ONE person could respond and politely say "Rules of the forum state that all items must have a price... no auctions"

PMs could get troublesome ... if someone receives 5, 10, 15+ PMs from all the auction police in here I'm pretty sure they'll feel like an ass anyway... or get offended or wonder WTF.. and then lash out



most people in this forum know the rules... and they're not hard to find if you don't know them... and auction type posts work when you have a desirable item... 80% of the non price posts are that way for a reason



anyheel.. i'm all for cleaning this place up... but we know people can't help themselves... everyone thinks their opinion needs to be heard... no matter how similar to someone else's

message boards would be much different places if people ignored the trolls... but that never happens... someone always has to comment... or create their own thread commenting about people who shouldn't be commenting... a vicious cycle!!



as for people needing the money... that has nothing to do with anything... items have an average price and that's the reality of it

i need some money... but that doesn't mean I should post my Mansfield 98 poster for $9,42?

Im not saying people need money so they should be okay with selling it for HUNDREDS, let them set a price, and let them negotiate it down or up. If they need $ they want to sell it.

I'd like to add......Don't be a schmuck and pm offers when the seller doesn't post a price. That only encourages it and people to play ignorance of the rules. I realize there are some people that honestly don't know the rules, but I've seen too many FS threads without a price with one reply of "set a price" and then several "pm'd you"
