Picked up Cloud Nothings' "Attack on Memory" yesterday - listened to it all day - then went back to the CD shop and picked up "Cloud Nothings" and "Turning On"

Wow!

Fucking outstanding low-fi music!

They're gonna be in my town in the next month. Looking forward to this show and watching Dylan Baldi and this band get bigger.

My friend introduced me to this band just last week, and took me a few listens to get into them, but before long I was really digging their stuff! The more I listen, the more I'm loving them. Really cool band.

  • The "indie" rock channel on XM - SIriusXMU has been pimping them really hard for the last couple of weeks. I thought Stay Useless was kind of catchy, but I didn't really see what the big deal was. I listened to the full album a couple of times today and was really impressed. That song is so much stronger in the context of the album. I am definitely going to tell some friends about it. Just curious have you heard of the band Yuck? Their self titled album came out last year and you might like that too.

I just learned about Yuck... You're actually the second person to recommend this band to me today! I'll give 'em a listen. Thanks!!

I felt the same way and then a friend invited me to see them at the Echo is LA last week. They were great live so I'm anxious to listen to more. Highly recommend seeing them if you get a chance.

I attended their live in-studio performance while in Seattle for this year's Home Shows:

  • Saw them open for Rise Against this week. Fun little band. Knew nothing of them before, but came away impressed.
