Rocksmith-Pearl Jam

Rocksmith just announced that Pearl Jam will be a DLC next week on Feb 7th. They didn't say which songs or how many. Hopefully it is a three song pack. This is awesome but for the life of me, I can't decide which three songs I'd like to see most. I'm guessing we'll get a combo of Ten options. Thoughts?

wow, imagine the possibilities.

i have this game and have had some fun with it. i know stone and ed's parts on about 75% of their catalog, so i would most likely have to relearn things a different way for the sake of playing the game.

i suppose i need to get my xbox hooked up to the interwebs sooner than later...

What great news. Love Rocksmith. I have gone easy on it lately as I am trying to find lessons before I allow bad habits to fester too long.

Tried this game out a few weeks ago at a buddy's house and couldn't get into it. Didn't think it was fun - and the game came with a lot of cool songs I wanted to play

Black and Jeremy. Pretty surprised actually. Very pleased to see Black. Tried to nail down the solo last night to mixed results. Very pleased on the combo arrangement. I've always played the verse as a standard D-C-Em chord progression. Rocksmith has the verse as barred (terrible explanation but you'll likely know what I'm talking about) D (5th fret)-C (3rd)-(7th)Em (with a cool little fill) d-c-Em (final Em a chord). Sounds way better than what I was playing.
As for Jeremy, have not tried it yet. I guess as a means of getting the average fan to buy a DLC, Jeremy had to be included but I'd have loved pretty much anything else instead. Rumours have a couple more Pj songs coming down the pipe.
Anyway, great game for learning. You can break down each section of the song in Riff Repeater until you master. My hands were killing last night trying to get the Em fill down pat.

Hey guys, Alive by Pearl Jam is coming soon, possibly next week. There's also a Pearl Jam pack but I guess that is Alive, Black and Jeremy altogether

Have fun you krazy kats... Sounds like a new idea for a Pearl Jam party. Rock band, Rocksmith... all that jazz.

I sang "Release" (as far as I can recall.... the juice was flowin so I'm fuzzy) on RockBand ... maybe it was guitar hero... no .. it was rockband.. a couple years ago and nailed it with a 98% rating! so ridiculous. it was fun though. Only time I ever tried one of them interactive music games.
