Amazing, absolutely amazing.
My friend commented on how awesome Matt C was.
Massive respect for MFC!

It is quite the spectacle to see him drum in Jesus Christ Pose! I'm glad he joined PJ, but Soundgarden is where his talents really shine ... seems like PJ is only utilizing 75% of his ability.

Great band. Great show. Great music. Great backing vocals by MC!

    That's awesome

I waited 5 hours plus at lolla to see them up front...... Had to sit thru X Japan

Youtube them....... And you'll see the things I'll do to see my favorite bands up close :)
  • I absolutely can not wait for the Paris gig, and seeing MC drumming in Soundgarden is possibly the thing I'm most looking forward to... he is an absolute monster in that band, unshackled and free to go nuts.

The ticket got used! and appreciated (I think), but you'll have to make sure you're in town if they come back later in the year!

I saw Soundgarden loads in the 90's,they were incredible live, one of the best bands I have seen.I haven't seen them as they are now but would expect nothing much less than the way they have always been.

I'm going to Paris gig as well ! Can't wait.

Considering I'll see Mudhoney the week before and 6 Pearl Jam gigs in June/July, I have quite a nice concert schedule for 2012.
  • Me too and it was quite the spectacle esp once the fainting started..SG made it sooo worth it

    Later this year?
I doubt they would tour twice in a year.

If they come back I'll be there to see them, no worries as I'm usually in town. Chris did say in an interview someone posted that they'd come back to Australia "soon" but I don't know how "soon" that would be. Neither does he, I suspect.

I can't wait to see them again. I caught them in the Summer on my birthday, and was floored. They were playing the next night an hour and a bit away, so I picked up a floor ticket and saw them a second time. I've seen Chris and Matt a few times prior (separately of course), and heard a couple SG songs at various shows (Audioslave & CC solo), but nothing compares to seeing the full band. And Matt just kills it on JCP and Slaves & Bulldozers.

Never said I believed it, only that based on what Cornell said that was the rumour
