My PJ 'LO2L' for your Hip 'Road Apples'

edited May 2012 in Lost Dogs
Looking for this Tragically Hip album, sealed or unsealed, in playable condition:

 Road Apples

Will trade...

Unsealed Vinyl is near mint but jacket has one bad corner and 1 or 2 other minor marks

 Live On Two Legs

Yes, this Hip album is ALL that I'm looking for right now (besides the PJ shirts listed below here). No, I wouldn't be interested in any others. No, I'm not looking to $ell these right now. Fact is, I really don't wanna part with any from my PJ collection BUT I am getting quite desperate to find/grab this album.

Anyways, if you have this Hip album, and would be interested in working something out, hit me up. Otherwise, please only serious trade offers, etc..need pm me. I most likely won't reply to grovels for sales or trades for other items. Sorry. :|

Edit: I am also an obsessive t-shirt collector and would consider the following PJ sports-themed shirts in size XL (may consider xxl or L) in trade for certain albums. Hit me up if you have any of these and are looking to complete your vinyl collection

- Calgary Flames
- Vancouver Canucks
- Seattle Seahawks (not Sonics)
- Portland Trailblazers

Do you know for sure that these titles were released on vinyl? Because you have 2 items of PJ vinyl that would complete my PJ vinyl collection, I took it upon myself to call several Minneapolis-St. Paul record stores (I called 5 different places; ok so its been a slow afternoon ;) ), and invariably the response from the person was (1) "no we don't have any Tragically Hip on vinyl," and (2) "I'm not even sure most of their post-80's stuff ever was on vinyl." One guy even pointed out that most of their stuff was released during the days of "the death of vinyl." He worked at the Electric Fetus (if you haven't heard of it, ask Ringo Starr about it  ), so I'm guessing he's up on his music.

I'll keep a look out just in case though!

  • They definitely exist, I owned both a while ago but sold them when times got tough. If I had FC, I would make the trade for sure. The Livee Between Us is gatefold in very nice packaging, I really regret selling that one.

  • A few Hip records were released on vinyl, some (like Phantom Power) just straight up never were. Road Apples and Fully Completely were Euro pressings, super hard to track down. I don't know why this band hasn't put out a box set yet, Bad Religion style, it would be such a good idea. Good luck!
