1. How come ten club members do not get the better seats in the house? I am not saying we should get the first row, or anything like that, but shouldnt there be some beneifit? I am reading that peolple get bad seats. Does ticketmaster prevent 10 club from doing this? If so .....ticketmaster is truelly evil.
2. How come i was just able to buy a specific seat to the Orlando, FL EV show online? I took it all the way through to checkout. It seems to be legit.
I do appreciate that the 10 club does get you in the building, but to be honest there is not the demand for tickets in the USA, where you have to really rely on that as a way into a show. Usually all you have to do is buy the tickets the day it goes on sale. I know some shows sell out fast, but as a rule it is not too hard to get tickets.
BTW, Did anyone see the price of springsteen tickets? How the hell can a kid go to a show? When i was a kid, i was able to see The Who and The Stones for a reasonable affordable price ( granted it was at Giant Stadium)

How could you buy an Orlando ticket? They haven't gone on sale yet. :?&&&&&&&&&&&&&&0

You probably clicked on a ticket brokering site where a season ticket holder has put up their tickets0

Oh wow, that must be it, because it was stub hub.
Ok that makes sense, still dont like it though.
I did notice that most of the seats were far from the stage.0 -

a) Because ticketmaster doesn't give a fuck about fan clubs. 10C distributes the tickets that they are allocated . b) Have you been to any of the solo tour venues? There is hardly a bad seat in the house. Sadly, there are a lot of 10C members that bitch if they aren't in the first 5 rows. Seniority does not apply on the EV tour. Take the complaints with a grain of salt.PearlJammer623 wrote:2. How come i was just able to buy a specific seat to the Orlando, FL EV show online? I took it all the way through to checkout. I've often seen scalpers post tickets on sites like Stub Hub when they don't even have them, assuming that they will get them. Good luck with that.0 -

i don't profess to know how TM/LN does its tricks
but for PJ tickets, PJ and 10C should most certainly have the best seats in the house
i know, i know, i know..it doesn't work that way

A lot of times venues sell season tickets and the best seats can not be offered because they are offered to the season ticket holder. Also, if the venue has sponsors the sponsors typically have some of the better seats. Then take into account employee ticket offers at these venues. Internal comps, then the venue and the promoter have to come to an agreement on what seats can be provided for consignemt to sell.Pittsburgh, PA September 28, 2005 || Washington, DC June 22, 2008 || Barstow, VA May 13, 2010 || Seattle, WA August 10, 2018 || Dana Point, CA September 29, 2018 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 28, 2019 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 25, 2021 (EV) || Dana Point, CA October 1, 2021 || Dana Point, CA October 2, 2021 || Chicago, IL August 29, 2024 || Pittsburgh, PA May 16, 2025 || Pittsburgh, PA May 18, 20250 -

Springsteen tickets are right around $100 for the best seats/floor seats, down to I think $60 further, for most shows... He could charge a lot more and still sell out every show, if he wanted to. I think he's reasonable considering that.
You wanna talk about crazy... Van Halen floor/best seats are $150-160 EACH. The Phoenix venue is a pretty good sized theater, if the 10C seats are in the balconies (as they've apparently been for some EV solo shows) we're screwed. Those balconies are WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back from the stage. Great theater though, I've seen many events there but I always shoot for the orchestra.
Peace,
KJ
PS: for the love of PJ, Phoenix peeps, don't be assholes and piss EV off yelling for PJ songs or no one from the band will EVER come back here!! Nine years since we've had a show in the area. Just sayin'. :roll:http://www.expressobeans.com/public/member.php?id=8556

The 400 level for the Springsteen DC show was $98 plus almost $20 in fees. Not cool, which is why I released my tickets. I know someone else took them, but I'm not giving him that kind of money for seats that I need to bring my own O2 too.0 -

Ask anyone who tried to buy tickets for EV's 2011 US tour if they agree with the statement that "there is not the demand for tickets in the USA." Ticketing for that tour was outrageous. No offense to anyone living in the areas he will tour this year, but I think its fair to say that there is not as big of a demand for tickets in areas like Albuquerque or Tulsa. Chicago, Seattle, Oakland, Philly, NY, Minneapolis, Detroit, St. Louis...yeah tickets were impossible to get for those tours and while I would've loved front row seats, getting 10c seats was a huge benefit simply because it got me in the door.1998-06-30 Minneapolis
