Is 'Better Man' The World's Most Famous 'Non-Single'?

It's crazy, in Australia, if you asked the average Joe what songs Pearl Jam sing they (more than likely would say) 'Alive', 'Daughter' and 'Better Man'. I play in a covers band and whenever we play 'Better Man' the crowd goes nuts. But it was never a single!!

Is there any other song in the world that was not released as a single but has such popularity?
Also, do you think 'Better Man' would be Pearl Jam's highest selling single if it was released back in 1994? I think it would've sold more (in Australia) than 'Jeremy' and 'Last Kiss'!

Thoughts?

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Positively Stairway to Heaven, however it's one of my least favorite songs by them.

    As far as Pearl Jam is concerned, not only is Better Man one of their biggest hits that was never released as a single, but I would say Yellow Ledbetter and Last Kiss have also done well for themselves without being released as singles (And yes, I know Last Kiss was released as a single, but not until it was already way popular).
    words seem so out of place.

    There are many songs by The Beatles that were not released as singles, but are among some of the best and well known songs of all time.
