Anyway...So Kathy and I get a decent refund this year...
We are going to pay off a couple of bills, and probably have a deck built in back this spring/summer...

We'll put the money aside to make up the shortfall in income if I go out on disability for a baby. 8-)

I always break even-ish. IF I had a refund, pretty sure it would all go to payin shit off. Although a TV upgrade would be nice. Hahaha!

A refund could also better justify those $170 Eddie Vedder tix.

    Phoenix.
Went to the San Diego show last year and it was good....not great. We get nothing talent-wise here in AZ, so I figured I better not miss it!
Come down for the show Speedy!

I love getting a huge refund - otherwise if we got it a little at a time each month we'd spend it on crap. We use it for stuff throughout the year that comes up that we don't have budgeted (house repairs, car repairs, vacation, the kids).

thats a good idea, instead of just buying stuff because you have some extra money. I should do this approach, set it aside as the emergency fund.

After spending the last 4 refunds on stupid shit, I think I'll be putting this one in the bank.

Damn you people! Don't you realize only 40% of mariages make it this day in age? If you only had a 40% chance of arriving alive every time you drove your car, would you do it?

Sorry... little angry this morning... been getting scolded all weekend about mariage after another one of her friends made an annoucement this weekend... she's a little bent out of shape as we've been together longer than this couple... combined with the fact we bought a house this year...

So yea, I'll be doing my first joint filing of taxes... so if there's a refund (and their usually isn't because I make a point not to loan money to the government), I'll have absolutely no say in what gets done with it...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Ha...I am in. I'm starting to wish I would have went the destination wedding route like you did. Oh well...the honeymoon in St. Lucia will be nice.

    I feel different...

I have NO problem giving the government an interest free loan.
Hell...I feel like its my "Good Deed" of the year...
Actually, I am going in to work today...And letting the person in HR know....That I want them to take an extra $10 a week( on top of the extra $10 a week that has been going on for years), and loan it to the government....

    But thats just me....

    Ive changed my mind...

Im going to donate my refund to charity!!!!

    BWAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we'll upgrade our TV as well, and the majority of the remainder will go toward my new-car fund.

Speaking of charity, I've decided to not deduct my contributions this time around (it wasn't a shitload of money, but still)...makes me feel like I've truly given.
