Anyone from NJ/NY area going to Bamboozle?

I just bought a single day pass for Saturday so I can see Foo Fighters.

I'm considering getting tickets for Sunday too... the "very special guest" has me curious.

Anyone else going?

Is the special guest scheduled for the same day as the FOOs? I've been thinking about it, but I really hate GA.

All I wanted in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade was to attend this festival and never could. Funny that now, when I despise most of the music there, the Foos are headlining which made me consider buying a single day ticket. But can't justify that money just to see the Foos. I'd rather pay 70 bucks, cheaper than a single day ticket, to see them headline their own show. Regardless, if you don't care about price and festival and just wanna see the Foos, I'm sure it's gonna be a great show, Foo Fighters never disappoint! Hoping that maybe because they are in the area, they'll play some sort of other gig in the tri-state area around the dates that they'll be in NJ!

I'm not from the NJ/NY area, but I will be attending Bamboozle (Saturday only). The lineup looks pretty good for Saturday. I can't wait to see the Foos again.

Any idea what time the Foo Fighters might go on?

I know someone who works for the city and they told me the scheduled hours for the festival on Saturday are 2pm to 2am

I really hope they're not coming on that late.

I am in central NJ and think I will be going on Saturday as well. Wonder how tough it is gonna be to drive/park there. NJ Transit is offering $20 train passes for the North East Coast line...but only goes as far south as Red Bank...then a shuttle to Asbury Park which is about 5-6 miles south. I wonder if you can get a second train from Red Bank straight to Asbury Park?

The train should run all the way to Long Branch where you can change trains to one that will stop in asbury park.

I wouldnt even attempt to drive - the traffic will be a nightmare. I live a few miles away so my wife is going to drop us off at the city limits and we can walk the rest of the way.
