I don't! Spent more than a couple of nights on very hard, very cold Edinburgh pavements in search of near the front tickets, I suppose at least you were fairly sure you'd get them, but give me the comfort of my own home thank you very much.

Good points yes, but it was fun too! Always met some interesting people and made the best of it.

It was fun I have to admit, and we certainly met some 'interesting' people, but I'm too old for that kind of stuff now, that's probably what did my back in in the first place!!!

    What's he done that's anti-scalper? I really don't know.

It does seem kinda fishy that it happened with another Boss ticket sale.

When PJ played SLC in 2009, I went the morning the tickets went on sale and got mine. There were like 3 other people there for the same thing. The first dude there was with his wife/girlfriend and he was a douche. The guy was insistent that Pearl Jam played two shows in 2006 in Salt Lake City at the EnergySolutions Arena. I can assure, they did not... this website supports my claim, plus I traveled to Denver in 2006 to see them because there wasn't a SLC show. The guy was acting as if he was friends with the band and knew every and all details. Fact was, PJ hadn't played Utah since 1998 and the only time they had played back to back shows in SLC was November 1st and 2nd of 1995.

The guy was a fucking tool. But Mamasan, I trust that there wer some cool people to meet back in those days. The girlfriend also misses the old experience of waiting in line for tickets.

Now I'm the one spouting out facts, but at least they are accurate.
    7/2/06 - Denver, CO
    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2

Trust me, before this whole interweb thingy the only way to assure close to the front tickets was trying to sleeping on a cold hard pavement/sidewalk with lots of like minded people, in many ways it was cool, but it was also hard going. I do miss it, but I'd have to be 18 to do it again.

Now we just sleep on cold mattresses due to not being able to pay the gas bill because ticket prices are fucking ridiculous.

he does random ticket drops of good seats at random times in the weeks leading up to the concerts. i remember back in 09 bathgate66 sent me a few pm's telling me bout ticket drops. also this tour will be a paperless ticket tour for most of the dates

bout as fishy as a 10c ticket sale, right? i wonder if the 10c and that euro ticket site have figured out who was behind the hacking of the euro ticket sales

Paperless thing is cool. I don't think he has control of the ticket drops. That's seems like the way most ticket drops work.

I guess :? We're talking about tm, which seems to be about 10x the size of the company that PJ used. Crummy either way, I was just saying it's kinda weird that it's happened with 2 separate Boss sales.

i've heard stories on the bruce forums
of him running around outside of MSG going after them ( scalpers ) with cops.
i did not witness this personally.

At Asbury Park Convention Hall, they would periodically have rehearsal shows.
This is 1 small minor thing, but hes had a history of
" pick up tickets with credit card used and photo ID "
and then you are immediately funneled inside into Convention Hall.
This goes right at the scalpers.

He did the same for Harrys Roadhouse in Asbury Park
    ( basically a bar )
one year for a Christmas/Holiday show
& All the holiday shows followed the same protocol as well.

As mentioned the ticket drops have been semi- regular occurance.
The last few years there have been less drops happening.

I attribute the coinciding Bruce sales/TM overloads
strictly to the volume of people.
