I wonder if we'll hear some news about the new album and/or possible tour dates this month....
I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

    I hope so, but I doubt it. We're bound to have news about some things though no doubt. More likely to have news about something going on in the digital lounge, 'xmas' single etc

    Yeah, I hope so. I'm pretty sure they are going to be in the studio this month.

    Last month I met a dude from a band called Billy Talent and he was in the studio with Brendan O'Brien all through December.

    This guy loves PJ and said they were pretty deep into getting material ready for the studio. I would imagine some info will be trickling out soon.

    I think they'll do something in January. Hopefully EV DVD news or boots from the spring/summer. I don't think albulm/tour news until the spring.

    hope the tour is this summer as opposed to next. i'm sure there will be a few dates anounced even if the record isn't due til say.....november

    I think PJ are being a bit inconsiderate here. I've got a whole summer to plan around their supposed tour and still no news?! Really, it would be nice to get something soon, so we can start making some plans, but we can only live in hope.

    I doubt that there will be any new record or tour news until spring time. We can look forward to the X-mas single and the Super Deluxe Ten Box Set!

    My fingers are crossed. I am jonesing pretty bad. I missed the east coast shows last year because i got married that week, so i figure they owe me something this year :-)

    I wouldnt expect anything soon. I really want some but i doubt it. I called up Ten Club the other day because they never sent me the DEEP magazine. I asked the guy if there was an xmas single and he said yes it will be out in January or Febuary. Thats good to hear

    Here's my guess. There will be no tour this summer due to a new album dropping in late summer/fall of 09. They will launch a world tour in early 2010, starting with a European leg. Then hit North America in Summer of 10 and ending the tour with their 20th anniversary show on 10/22/10.

    I am hoping that the 20th anniversary show is played in Boston (yes, I'm selfish) even though it makes the most sense for it to be held in Seattle.

    I hope I'm wrong too cause I'd love to see PJ play in 09. Just seems that with last summer's tour not promoting an album, the next time they tour will be on their new album. If Jeff Ament is in the know at all, which I think he is, his "souffle" comment just bought the band another few months in the studio. Can't see an album coming till at least summer. Just an opinion and yes I'm with all of you in hoping I am wrong too.

    i am guessing if there were to be an announcement regarding a tour, it would be around the time the summer festival lineups start getting revealed. that's usually when my summer plans become a lot clearer, hoping for a pj headlining rothbury or pj playing a couple of nights at the gorge, or alpine valley. oh, and for a new album this year. that'd be a good year
