Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Van Halen are all coming near me! I would be super excited except they are all around the same time and my budgets kind of limited at this point. I'm trying to decide which one but I really would like to go to all so any opinons are welcome.

I haven't seen any of them yet. Bruce Springsteen is a must see for sometime in my life. I am always hear how great live he is. I am a fan, but I don't know a THAT many songs. The songs I do know, however I love. Also if I would go it would give me an excuse to listen to Springsteen 24/7 leading up to it.

The Chili Peppers have always loved. I couldn't name all of there songs off every album like a could another band ;) Still one of my top bands though. I have heard though that they arn't that great live.

Van Halen. Most people I'm guessing on here would think i'm crazy for even considering it, but I really have been listening to 80s (sometimes by force) due to the rest of my family. I have grown to love it over the years. My family would also love to go with me and I don't know many other people who I could say the same for Springsteen or the Chili Pepers.

Anyway comments and opinons are very helpful. Tickets go on sale soon or are already on sale. :)

I would say Bruce Springsteen and i'm not really much of a fan. I've seen him twice though. Puts on a LONG show. Good bang for your buck.

RHCP aren't that bad live, but NO John Frusciante on guitar. I thought he was really good when i saw them.

NEVER was a VH fan at all. DLR annoys the hell out of me, and that's when he's singing>

Hey! you could put the 3 groups in a hat and pick one out>

Do you live near Philly? I think those groups are playing in Philly around the same time?
  • Right State! but i'm by Pittsburg. They dates aren't that close to each other March April and May. But still would only get to one. Springsteen I would go to Cleveland to see, not far about 2 hours. Lot of tough choices to make :D May end up going with the hat idea.

Why does it all have to be now! Can't it be like March September and December!
Also really wanted to see Roger Water but tickets are wayyyyyyyy to high.

the peppers aren't that good live (in my opinion) & i'm not a VH fan at all.

Bruce ~ Proven track record w/ good shows. Seen him a few times and it's always a great show, even in the bigger sheds.

VH seems to be overpriced. I have a feeling that people will be unloading tickets on stubhub/craigslist closer to the show, so you may want to keep an eye out for deals for that show. I couldn't see paing $65 for the cheap seats for the San Diego show (top price was almost $180). Just don't get VH justifying that much.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I'd go with Bruce too, but that's just me. Having the same Bruce vs RHCP dilemma and I think I'm going with Bruce, even though 83.50 for me if it's not PJ or DMB is a huge splurge. Bruce will be worth it!

I agree. My budget is tight, as well, but I already have tickets for RHCP, and I just found out a few days ago about Bruce, and I have to try like hell to get to that show because it's too good to pass up.

Bruce. I went to my first Bruce concert in 2003, by then I had already been a fan for about 3-4 years, but I was still suprised by how amazing the music really is live. It's too bad that Danny Federici and Clarence Clemons are no longer with us, but I'm sure it's going to be a great show anyway. I'm going to see them for the 5th time in July.
    You won't regret it! 8-)

I'm not a mad Bruce fan but I must admit, the guy knows how to put on a great show. Go see him if you get the chance! He's really worth seeing live. Havent seen the RHCP but they're on my bucket list, wouldnt bother with VH myself.

For me it would be no contest for it to be Bruce, the man is a legend.

I have seen the RCHP more times than I care to remember but the last time they were getting on a bit and it showed.

Van Halen I'd have no desire to see Dave Lee Roths wig toppling and hear Eddie Van Halens guitar noodling for hours. :D
