Pay Pal questions thread

Couldnt find what i was looking for....so im asking right here.

For the presale lottery, im signed up for Tulsa and dallas. I noticed when I was checking out the fine print said - if there isnt any money in paypal account it will take directly from the bank account associated with it. So, my question is, is it really that simple? I dont even need to have money in the pay pal account on the 30th?

as long as you have your bank account connected to your PayPal account it will automatically transfer funds from bank to PayPal when you make a purchase...HOWEVER...your PayPal payment will be marked as pending for a few days even though your order goes through

to avoid any problems with the "pending" issue, connect a credit or debit card to your PayPal account, make sure you have enough $$ on the card and PayPal will instantly deduct funds from your card and voila! no pending issues

green dot visa works great if you don't have a credit card but will cost you 5 bucks to fund (buy one at cvs, walmart, etc)

maybe someone here knows if the pending bank funding will cause issues at presale
normally it doesn't in regular purchases

one more note if you're new to paypal
connecting a bank account takes a day or two cuz you'll have to verify 2 tiny deposits and depending on your bank's habits it could take a couple of days

so get on that
