Very true. As hard as it is, you just have to take the leap. But do it selectively, don't trust just anyone, only those who have gained it. Everyone else can go F themselves (pardon the language, a little cranky today )
I posted this on the Whitney thread, but I think this is relevant here too, and is why we all love this band so so much. Ed talks about how you build muscles through your struggles, and it's those muscles that keep you going. I'm paraphrasing but watch for yourself, it's not too long, and it's Ed!

I love Eddie and PJ so much so please no one take this the wrong way...but at times I just want to be like "spit it out already Eddie!!!".
He's normally much more eloquent than that, isn't he? I was surprised at how much he was struggling to find the right words I would have loved to see the full interview rather than the clip. Maybe they were talking about something difficult before? Who knows.
