Just discovered their music and HOLY CRAP do these guys rock!! So far haven't heard a song I didn't like. Real talented musicians, love their sound. Just good rock music with some psychadelic and folky touches mixed in on some songs. I also get a real classic rock feel on a bunch of songs! They can venture off into so many different places but still always sound like Black Mountain! And love how the guy and the girl's voices fit together so nicely. Any other fans? Anyone seen them live?

    I got into these guys in Oct. 2010. I absolutely love Wilderness Heart.

    Right after I got that album they were on tour with Band of Horses and played about an hour away from me at some shitty little place.

    I had just spent 6000 dollars putting my dog through chemo and couldn't justify spending the money to go.
    Now I really wish I would have just gone to see that show.

    Good Stuff. Glad to see others are into them.
    Peace, Love.

  • Their self titled EP is easily their best release.
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}
  • They have a new album coming out this month or next.....it's the soundtrack to a movie called Year Zero. It's only being released on vinyl. It's mostly unreleased tracks and stuff.

    I saw them live at a pretty small theatre last year (Sleepy Sun opened-check them out), and they were fucking awesome. I discovered them because they were the free track of the week on iTunes one week! It was Stay Free from In The Future! And I've been hooked since then! Crazy it took iTunes to help me discover a band from my own country! :?

  • FINALLY got around to buying Wilderness Heart! I just love this little band, so fun and their music puts you in such a good mood.....love love love.
  • check out Pink Mountaintops. It's essentially the same band, but kind of the "lighter side" of Black Mountain. Dig it.
