"This weekend, the Master Class at Slamdance Festival featured Coffee w/ Neil Young & Jonathan Demme for their new film Journeys.

A report from the coffee with Neil and Jonathan event by Bob & Kim C. reveals a stunning announcement...

... Neil Young has been recording with Crazy Horse . One album is complete and they are working on another.

No mention of content or time table."
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Man does that band rock. I love that Thrashers Wheat site.
Cant wait to see that new concert film. Supposed to be the opposite of the Heart of Gold movie released a couple years ago.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

Yeah - It's "Journeys", from the Le Noise tour. Never saw the Trunk Show movie, I don't think that ever got DVD release, and it's not played close to me.

    Awesome news!

Although, we are still waiting for the "Toast" album that he recorded with Crazy Horse in 2000...
    “Do not postpone happiness”
    (Jeff Tweedy, Sydney 2007)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

Yeah - I'm wondering if Toast is one of these albums.

Neil's site said this ages ago:
"Toast" is coming, a dark Crazy Horse classic for the ages. This first NYA "Special Edition" is the beginning of a new series of unreleased albums.
But then, this was also posted in July 2010 in the article about Archives 2:
Four unreleased albums from this period are being rebuilt and will be available in the NYA Special Release Series. Chrome Dreams, Homegrown and Oceanside-Countryside are the three unreleased studio albums. Also from this period is the unreleased Odeon-Budokan live recording produced by David Briggs and Tim Mulligan. These albums initially will be released in vinyl from analog masters as they originally were created for that format. So now is the time to get your new phonograph player. The new players, built with today's technology, are exceptionally good.
...so fingers crossed there'll be a lot of Neil to look forward to this year!

I'm so confused why trunk show wasn't released. I saw it when it had a limited theatre run and was blown away. He's depriving his fans big time...def thought it would come out before this next one

Not sure what this is.....Found it over at the Wilco board in a thread called "Stream new Neil Young/Crazy Horse album" and thought most of you'd be interested.

Nice - Thanks for the link. Starting it up, definitely got that Crazy Horse groove. Starts off like a slowed down Fuckin' Up.

Nice tour of Neils equipment on the video too. I don't think this is a new album, but rehearsals. Goes into Cortez about 20 minutes into the longggg jam.
