Wow, what an amazing show the two of those must have been. I can't imagine seeing Pop and PJ on the same night.

I would've seen Wintersleep this tour but I didn't go inside the building until 10-15 mins before PJ took the stage.
  • 2003: Idlewild (I recommend them)
2005: Missed Supersuckers three times; saw Wintersleep twice.
Makes much more sense to live in the Present Tense.

Seen Slater Kenney...not the best...the buest duo I've seen concerning opening bands has to be by far Tool and King Crimson at Red Rocks..KC started the show...it was awesome!

Also, last year at Hawgfest a few different bands open for ZZ-top, Eddie Money was pretty damn good for an old fogie!

The Woods is soooooo good. Can't stop listening to it. I have to tell anyone that if you thought Sleater-Kinney was good opening for PJ it is nothing compared to Sleater-Kinney headlining a club this year promoting the Woods. Amazing!!!!
Also, as an aside I once caught an unknow White Stripes opening for Sleater-Kinney a few years back. Great show. No Sleater-Kinney/Pearl Jam but still pretty freakin' good.

If I'm not mistaken, Sleater-Kinney opened for The White Stripes back in Aug. That's funny how things work out that way.

Modern Girl is great. Janet rocks out on the harmonica.
