This doesn't even make the top 50 reasons why you should be happy the Dolphins aren't your team.

I think we're pretty much in the same boat. Similar boats anyway...

Tyreek Hill just traded to my beloved Miami Dolphins. 4 years/$120 Million. Aparrently the trade was for five draft picks, including this year's first rounder. Whatever. The Dolphins suck at drafting anyway.

I like it, but I've seen the Dolphins make many big signings over the years that didn't come close to working out. But here's hoping for something positive.
The years of domination started to fade as soon as Mahommes got paid.  It's never going to be easy for him again.

Bart Scott was on to something as he said it first.  Once he started breaking things down it made sense.  This falls into his more of what he was saying.

People want to get paid or they leave and the team isn't nearly as good as they once were.

I hate to say it but the Dolphins have become nothing more than a "stop" for players. It's certainty not a destination if you're looking to win. But, if you want to get overpaid, enjoy beautiful weather, and pay no state income tax, Miami's the place for you.

Look what happened when the QB left and had good coaching!  He wins!

Does Miami still have Parker and Waddle?  If so, that's quite a trio, along with Gesicki.  Can someone deliver the ball?  They did give up a lot.

I love the move by the Chiefs.  Take one step back to take two steps forward.  They would have been in salary cap hell in 2023 had they caved on what Tyreek wanted.  This gives them a chance to build a more sustainable roster on both sides of the ball.  They will never replace Hill and what he can do, but I am anxious to see how they evolve into the next window of opportunity.  There were too many question marks at defensive end/tackle, cornerback, offensive tackle (I guarantee Orlando Brown holds out unless he is extended) and wide receiver even with Hill on the roster for 2022.  Shrewd and forward thinking move by the Chiefs.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

If they draft right they'll be good but they keep losing pieces in an already stacked conference.

Best to replace those pieces with younger, cheaper and controllable talent.  NFL rosters can age quickly if you don't take initiative.

Agreed. I think that was a hell of a trade for KC.

Everyone is replaceable in the NFL other than the QB. That's the reality and that's why this was a good trade.

    rich assholes deemed it so?
playoffs seen as more important. handful of regular season  games showed 50% of coin toss/first possession  teams won.
