Just do college football OT rules, it's way better than anything the NFL has done.
I hate it. Maybe woiuldn't mind if they started at the 50 though.
I think the uncertainty around the time with teh college OT rules prevents them from going down that path.  The NFL has always been very focused on ending the games on time, or within a reasonable time.

Geno Smith is a $37M/yr QB? OK.

Geno for $37.5Mil or Dak for $65Mil, pretty clear what the better value is.

Don't understand why they change, no issues with the way it was.  Fucking NFL.
I mean, I think both teams should get the ball.

I really do hate the dumb kickoff rules with the dudes standing there staring at each other.

I'd like to see the 4th & 15 replace the onsides kick. Of course, then you're just an illegal contact away from keeping the ball, so there's that.
I can see your position....and I know I sound like an old man (wobbie) but if you don't want to be subject to the OT rules, win the game in regulation.
I think the playoffs are different and am in favor of full quarters adding on (no different rules during them) and playing until there is no tie.

I love baseball but already miss football, even if the team I root for looks like a joke.
    Football is the best.
Hockey playoffs starting up will help

So you want them to play full 15-minute quarters repeatedly until it's not tied anymore? Dang. They're trying to get this done in a reasonable amount of time.

Maybe modify the rules in OT so you kick off from the 20 instead of the 35, to make the drives easier. Or, hell, kick off from the goal line.

I get that the NFL is the most popular sport in America…..but does ESPN really have to talk about it 365 days of the year? yeah, the draft is coming up….to my mind, there’s about five uncertainties worth talking about and it doesn’t have to be discussed day after day after day.

I was watching the first few picks and the Saints were up.  That hack Mel Kuiper is speaking “I see Seder Sanders as a good fit here, the Saints can use him blah blah blah”

The New Orleans Saints with the 9th pick of the draft select Kelvin Banks OT from Texas.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!!!!!

Baseball has multiple games a day.  They can fill the whole day with what players are doing and playing well.  It’s a shame they don’t pay attention to other sports more…

His father used to draw that in the dirt when he was batting.  I believe Cartlon Fisk chased his ass up the base path because of that.

Deion was a perfectly mediocre baseball player. Replacement Player at best. It felt gimmicky to me that he played two sports. He was certainly not Bo Jackson.

A phenomenal CB though, you have to give him that.

Brian Jordan was a very good two sport player. Not as good as Bo but better than Sanders.  He was smart to eventually focus on baseball.

Not fully football related but Danny Ainge is the only person to ever be Parade All-American in Football, Basketball and Baseball.  Also played in both the major leagues and NBA.  Probably the most underrated athlete of all time.
