    Why the NFL would choose to keep their product (arguably the BEST sports product imo) out of sight is beyond me... Having NFL games on TV, especially LOCAL TV is the best advertising for their team, and the only sure fire way to build a loyal fan base. You know, the fans that will want to go to games, buy Sunday Ticket, order jerseys, etc...In my opinion the NFL does not understand the business rule of "out of sight, out of mind" They are missing out and neglecting a generation of young fans because they never get to see them on TV.
    How 'bout the old timers, in homes and the whatnot that can't get around these stadiums, love their local teams and can't watch them? Bums me out...
    Just think about this: IF the blackout rule worked as the NFL originally drafted it/wanted it - there'd be no blackouts, right?

    No shit?? I thought Sunday Ticket got you all the games regardless of the blackout crap.

    Wouldn't it be smart business for the owners to "buy" the leftover tickets to insure no blackouts?

    These replacement refs fucking review every play! None of them have the balls to make a ruling on the field and always rely on replay. Absolutely ridiculous.

    And you should have seen the play that they reviewed. The guy clearly was down by contact before he fumbled and they had to review it for 5 mins. It's so bad.

    This weekend has been brutal, it's like they are getting worse every week. Pretty soon these games are going to take 5 hours to finish.

    Yep...it seems to be getting worse each week. They have no control out there and rely on replay reviews way too much.
