    more garbage officiating.

wagner made an illegal vault to block the FG.

obvious holding on wilson’s 40 yard scamper.

fuck the seahawks and their stupid fans.
Was it illegal, though? I didn't think he used another player to vault himself over the line.

  • Seahawks? Help from the refs?  Nah, I don't think I've ever seen that happen.  /s

You mean like against Pittsburgh in the Superbowl? The Seahawks were shafted and the Steelers were beneficiaries of a gift handed to them by Bill Leavy. He even admitted to it:

"It was a tough thing for me," said Leavy, a veteran of 15 NFL seasons and two Super Bowls. "I kicked two calls in the fourth quarter and I impacted the game, and as an official, you never want to do that.

"It left me with a lot of sleepless nights, and I think about it constantly," Leavy said of the February 2006 game. "I'll go to my grave wishing that I'd been better."

Though Seattle played one of its poorest games of an otherwise wondrous season that day, several key calls went against the team in its 21-10 loss.

Yeah that was probably the most obviously lopsided officiated game I've ever watched.  I remember back then (when meme wasn't even a buzz word) there were pics floating around of Super Bowl MVP Bill Leavy.  And I live on the cusp of "Steeler Country" and believe me, you couldn't tell a Steeler fan otherwise.  Most in-denial fan base in the NFL.
In the Pete the Cheat era, though, Seattle has been the benefactor of crooked officiating more than enough to make up for it.

And Cousins' contract is fully guaranteed... a rarity for the NFL. Vikings are hamstrung, can't fire Cousins, so they fire the OC.
    This weekend we rock Portland

The pass interference at the end was terrible. Exciting game though. I'd love to see Rivers get to the SB this year.

pure make up call for the missed helmet to helmet hit on Rivers on the previous play.    I also thought the TD was not a catch. Juggled the ball and only got 1 foot in.

the chargers completed a 26(?) yard pass late, where the receiver got nailed with helmet to helmet from BOTH sides. no call.

Chargers are legit....and most of last night was without their best WR.  Could definitely see them making a super bowl run.  Crazy that one of the best teams in the NFL pretty much doesn't have a fanbase.

If they can get Gordon healthy they have a shot.  (And Allen returning and being OK is important.)
When Rivers has time the guy is really good.  One of those throws last night on the final drive was as precise a throw as you could ever ask for.  WR didnt even need to raise his hands!

Yeah it was definitely smart for them to rest Gordon last night with a long break coming before their next game.

Yeah that throw was incredible on that 4th down conversion....he'll make some pretty bad throws but then some of the most amazing throws you've ever seen.

Ekeler was out too yet they still maintained good balance. This team is really well coached. Yeah, I'm rooting for them in the AFC.

Oh yeah I forgot that....down to their 3rd string RB too.  They could end up with homefield advantage for the playoffs....but unfortunately for them even their home games are like road games.  Definitely rooting for them after the Bears.

As good as the Chiefs offense is, hard to see them going all the way with that horrible defense.  Decent pass rush but not much else.

I saw that if both the Rams and Chargers have home championship games, the NFL would move one of them to Monday night. That would be pretty wild.
