Hue Jackson fired. He never even tried for the Giants job I guess he knew they were taking McAdoo at the time. But he should have tried

Todd Haley got shit-canned too.  Would that make Gregg "Kill the Head, The Body will Die" Williams the next in line???  A guy that was banned for a year by the NFL and paid his players to try to spread CTE like the flu?  In Cleveland.  God, that would be just awesome.

I know Brady and Bellicheck are great but man what a dumpster fire that division has been for about a decade. could one of those teams step up and freakin compete with the Pats at some point?

AFC east is weak as is the NFC east. But weaker still is the MNF broadcast. The announcers and graphics are horrible horrible horrible. Can’t listen to it.

no team has repeated as NFC East Champions in over a decade so at least it's competitive year to  year.

and agree on the Monday night broadcast.  it is awful.

NFC East is far from weak.  The current SB Champ resides in the east and Philadelphia, Washington and Dallas all have a shot at winning the division.  Can not sat that about the AFC East?

Jon Gruden just needs let Tony Dungy coach the Raiders for five years and then the last five years of his contract will be nothing but gravy and Super Bowls.

They just showed a shot of Mark Davis in the owners booth and his wardrobe has an estimated street value of $4.83.  If you donated that outfit to a thrift store they would probably throw it in the dumpster versus taking up space in the rack. His chair looked pretty sweet though.

I think he can get at least a 15% discount at the Raiders pro shop. He makes Belichick look like the monopoly man.

  • Extremely embarrassing loss.

The Raiders are easily the most dysfunctional team in the league right now.

Giants have Barkley & Odell... that provides some excitement

    Raiders have nothing

but listen, all those 1st round picks coming up.... don’t fuck up, and you can turn it around in 3 years

If Drew Brees played in a major market he would be considered one of the best QB's ever instead of playing second fiddle to the current great QB's.

Just imagine his status if he played for da bears

And once again Rodgers will be blamed for not being clutch enough. Because he’s the one that injured half of the defense, he’s the one that fumbled on a masterful go-ahead drive, he’s the one that gave the defense a free run at a sack on a fourth quarter drive in a one score game.

Imagine if NO ever cared enough to improve their defense. They should have at least 4 rings under him at this point. He's carried that team for years.

Not for specific loses, but his career as a whole will never be remembered anywhere near as highly as Brady’s. I can’t say with any certainty that he would have won 5 rings if he were in Brady’s shoes, but we’ll never know because he’s never been given nearly as many opportunities.
  • So a “system” QB is the way to go then?

And once again Rodgers will be blamed for not being clutch enough. Because he’s the one that injured half of the defense, he’s the one that fumbled on a masterful go-ahead drive, he’s the one that gave the defense a free run at a sack on a fourth quarter drive in a one score game.
Rodgers is rarely blamed for losses
Not for specific loses, but his career as a whole will never be remembered anywhere near as highly as Brady’s. I can’t say with any certainty that he would have won 5 rings if he were in Brady’s shoes, but we’ll never know because he’s never been given nearly as many opportunities.
if Rodgers played for NE he would have at least 5 rings

If Drew Brees played in a major market he would be considered one of the best QB's ever instead of playing second fiddle to the current great QB's.

Just imagine his status if he played for da bears
    would his numbers be similar?
Yes.  He played outdoors in the Big Ten for an exceptionally shitty Purdue team and set about every Big Ten and NCAA passing record there.

Eli gets too much blame for Packers losses.
