Soundgarden Gold Coast BDO

Read a report that the ever so percious Kanye West had to do a sound check & did it while Soundgarden were playing. Anyone there to confirm that & maybe say what really happened? Cant believe the media these days. That is what festivals are all about with the sound you just have to take it as it comes but obviously not for blinged up dickheads.

    God still can't believe i went to the first BDO..and am going to Syd on Thursday....and freaking kayne is playing....only going to see Soundgarden..... for it's twenty anniversary you would think they could have put together a better lineup........in the words of Eddie hope someone does a Kayne on Kayne

    Don't think I have enough time or space to tell u what's wrong with him !! But everyone's got different taste... just have fond memories of old BDO's..not the same festival as it used to be....

    I was there in the pouring rain watching Soundgarden, Chris and the guys they were awesome & Matt Cameron btw. First time I've seen them live, there was alot of love.
    I wasn't interested in seeing Kanye at all, not to generalise but am sure alot of that crowd wasn't interested in him. You can still make music people like and be a ft (fu%cktard) at the same time. Unfortunately I put Kanye in this category. But ROCK on Soundgarden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was there, in the front row. Soundgarden were amazing. about half way through there set Kanye's people started doing a soundcheck, Chris Said that it sounds like children making music over there, retarded children. as in held back.

    a few news outlets are picking up on this.

    It seems apparent that Mr West is a very inconsiderate person. Didn't he have issues with Pearl Jam? Blaming them for his late appearance for something at a festival?

    yep everyone has got different taste and BDO caters to it all. tis not like there hasnt been hip hop at BDO before. it happens every year. but i agree BDO has been sliding for years. and now that the lolla people have a controlling interest it should be interesting if the slide continues or they manage to make BDO again worth the effort. the reason im not there this year is cause i cant justify going for less than a handful of bands... but thats the beauty of sideshows.
