Don't ask me why it took this long but I like what I hear thus far, am listening to their albums in order.
Have listened to 'You're living all over me', 'Bug', & 'Green Mind'. Also some releases in between the albums.
Currently listening to 'Whatever's cool with me'. Not you again is a great song.

    Great band!
Have you listened to any of J. Mascis solo stuff? Or any of Lou Barlow's numerous side projects?

Nice one! I love this band and J. Mascis solo. I saw him on the tour after the More Light album I think. He has a great voice and guitar sound live, I remember it being one of the loudest club gigs I'd ever been to.

J Mascis is the reason I have tinnitus... The LOUDEST show I've ever seen (2009). Honestly...the ringing was worth it. Such an amazing show.

Check out their newest - Farm. It's damn good.

This is a band you gotta check out live. They usually play pretty small clubs and put on an awesome show!! Like the other person said though they are ridiculously loud so bring earplugs. I remember the first time I saw them the openers finished and as soon as they started it was so loud that my ears were in instant pain and I ran to the washroom to shove paper towel in my ears. I think somebody threatened them because they lost some of their hearing at one of their shows a few years ago. I can`t remember exactly but it was in the news. Great band though and the guys are awesome Lou and Murph are very friendly and will hang out and chat with fans J is kinda hit and miss.
  • Very cool! It's always fun to discover a band that has been around for a while. You have a ready-made catalog going in!

Enjoy getting up to speed. Good band!

Don't know why bands have to play excessively loud, it doesn't make the music better but worse.

Dont you want everybody outside the venue to have the pleasure of listening too? ;)

That's funny because my buddy was across the street on a rooftop pub and said he could hear the whole show.
