If true, I am simultaneously happy for the southern kids who've been dying for PJ/EV shows, and disappointed for those of us wishing that the "big news" was a PJ full tour. I can convince my wife to travel out of state for PJ, but probably not for EV solo (although she loves Ed too).

Hope its true for you southern kids!

It is a guess because it doesn't even make sense based on the TWO rumoured dates so far.

I'm sure this is by far not a great source, but just a quick Google of EV tour 2012 this page had 2 of those dates
    http://www.songkick.com/artists/5847-eddie-vedder
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

I'd say the Jacksonville one is legit even though it is no longer listed on tm. I have a screenshot of the Jacksonville page that shows the date, time, etc
  • Options
If this is true, I'm also happy for the southerners, and I'm thinking that Norfolk, VA isn't too far for me to travel! Sure hope we have confirmation of EV's tour dates very very soon! :D

If so, maybe those dates are backwards? Weren't the NM shows slated for April? and the Jacksonville show in May?

I hope it's true! I live in Hampton Roads, VA and I'd love to see Eddie without having to travel 5-6 hours. :)

I'm almost certain it wouldn't be The NorVa. They DO have an incredible sound system, but it's only a 1,500 capacity venue. He'd probably play Chrysler Hall. (Still amazing!)

Think the Nashville show would be in Ryman Auditorium?
The New Orleans date could be interesting too...IF it's anywhere around JAZZ FEST!!
FOO FIGHTERS & MY MORNING JACKET are already confirmed for the second weekend of NOJ&HF!!!
An EV SOLO show in New Orleans around JAZZFEST would tip the scale for me :ugeek:

That Jazz Fest lineup alone generated discussion in my household about going back there. We saw PJ there in 2010 which was awesome, that whole town is fucking great... If the show rumors are true and the dates match up and you can swing it, I highly recommend it.

According to an Article on Jazzfest:

The other TBA likely won't announce his plans until January. So the festival accommodated him, in the interest of building a better overall show.

Notice the "his" and "him". Interesting clue, huh?

That and the TBA in the lineup for the 2nd weekend.

concertboom is reporting three EV shows. Jax, Tampa, and Melbourne, FL. The tab says Melbourne, which can be confused with Australia. If you scroll through the Melbourne concerts, it lists both sites.
    songkick reports Boston 5/8.
    Keep em coming!
