  • Well, this was my first year seeing PJ, although been a fan for years...life got in the way of "touring" for me...I've got to say the MSG I show was incredible for me, but the only thing to have blown that away was seeing ED at NJPAC...I almost peed when he stepped on stage (I heard someone actually DID pee themselves during one of the later shows..perhaps in Milwaukee?). And even though I understood the gist of YL, it was a major moment to see Ed's reaction when someone asked "what are the words to YL?"...that SMILE, those DIMPLES..even at 43! or when he went on about how much of a "mothereffing badass he was with his uke" after a "critic" called him righteous...he looked sooo happy on stage, even simple things...when he blew into the microphone instead of the harmonica, or had to start Setting Forth over... how he "channeled Turninng Japaneese"..(I don't think the 'kids' next to me even knew that song)events that will remain embedded into my memory (or what's left of it)...
I can only hope to look to the future for more moments, more concerts...I don't have a lot to pull from, but what I got means the world to me.

Eddie NYC Night 2. I got 3rd row center and still can't believe it. Full band: Gorge II. I was in awe, especially considering the venue and the long trip to get there.
