Yeah I'm a fan of this too. I bought the cd + dvd too but the cd has become a bit redundant as I only seem to watch the dvd when I need a fix. I love Paper Doll, Take A Walk, Fall At Your Feet and Parting Ways. If anyone hasn't heard the show and wants it post a reply here on the thread and if you're first to respond PM me and I'll post the cd once I find it. :D

LOVE IT!! Crazy story about this album - I was at Tower Records (RIP) and bought the Jimmy Eat World Clarity disc and popped it in on my way home to start listening to it. So I was listening to it and during the first song I was like hmmm...this doesn't sound like Jimmy at all. Get to the 2nd song and I hear Eddie Vedder... I was like what the hell is going on?! So I finally popped it out and looked at it and saw '7 Worlds Collide - Neil Finn & Friends'. To this day I'm AMAZED that of all the people that happened to get the Neil Finn w/ EV disc in a JEW cd, it would be someone as obsessed with PJ as I am. Total fate :D

Needless to say, I never returned it and it remains one of my favorite records ever! Stuff and Nonsense is one of the most beautiful songs ever!

All of the performances on that cd are phenomenal. I especially enjoy the Smith covers and the Crowded House material.

Yeah, as much as I love this one I was disappointed in the 7 Worlds Collide that came out last year. Not nearly as enjoyable to me. But then no Eddie Vedder, so...

Nice to see this resurrected & getting some love again!

&&& let's not forget that lucky old(young) Doompony was actually there at the original show! I went to his second 7 Worlds Collide event a couple of years ago(yes, mostly hoping Ed would turn up again which we knew he wouldn't but oh well) which was also great but yeah, Ed singing I See Red = melting!

Cool story about you picking the disc up Mamasan23. :)

    so much fun!

seeing liam and betchadupa playing split enz songs with eddie was unreal, but when tim finn came out and they were doing his nutso dancing together it was incredible. i went to two shows - the final 2... thursday night was the highlight since i got front row centre. never thought a spectacle like that would have happened in little old enzed.

The only thing I hate about this album is that my friend was at 4 of the shows and I wasn't

Granted I was living in the UK and I hadn't even met him yet but he reminds me of it every chance he gets!

    Everything else is gold! :)
