I also tried that but the bad thing is that the artwork won't be shown. That's why it's better to convert them to flac with Max.
I use FLAC frontend (http://sourceforge.net/projects/flac/fi ... e/download) to extract the .wav files from the .flac files. Then using mkv Audio Compression Tool ( http://etree.org/mkw.html ) I convert the .wav file to 320kbps .mp3 files.
I used to use flac. Frontend til it just wouldn't convert certain files for no good reason. It would run through like it did them all, but when I went to add them to itunes they wouldn't be there. It wouldn't even do them inidividually either. Almost always convert to wav, burned those to cd's then to mp3 in itunes.
