    1. Take flac file and toss it in the trash on your desktop.
    2. Then buy the vinyl
    3. Then rip to mp3
    4. Shoot yourself for foresaking music in the proper format.

    Lmao

That's a good idea, seeing as how any music that anyone would ever want is readily available on vinyl...

Well, I have a Mac and I play my flac files via Fluke on itunes. Fluke does something so itunes reads as a quicktime file. Then once in itunes I just convert to 320kbps mp3 with itunes software. ( Advanced>create MP3 version.)

I also tried that but the bad thing is that the artwork won't be shown. That's why it's better to convert them to flac with Max.

I still like converting Flacs to Mp3's the old school way.

I use FLAC frontend (http://sourceforge.net/projects/flac/fi ... e/download) to extract the .wav files from the .flac files. Then using mkv Audio Compression Tool ( http://etree.org/mkw.html ) I convert the .wav file to 320kbps .mp3 files.

    :)

I used to use flac. Frontend til it just wouldn't convert certain files for no good reason. It would run through like it did them all, but when I went to add them to itunes they wouldn't be there. It wouldn't even do them inidividually either. Almost always convert to wav, burned those to cd's then to mp3 in itunes.

I use LAME. rarewares distributes a version that uses libsndfile, meaning it can go straight from FLAC to mp3.
  • db poweramp is the shit.

Pretty sure dbpoweramp uses lame anyway, so may as well go straight to the source... :)

Use Burrrn to burn your FLAC's directly to CD. Then rip the CD to 320kb MP3, using your program of choice, for use on iPod / MP3 Player.

Just done this with Calgary 9-21-11. Sounds awesome.
