people who were not at the show.......

and anyone with half a fucking brain....knew the set was gonna be considerably shorter.......

    Oh yeah, it was obvious. Just once you actually see it, you just are dumbfounded why they'd waste a week and a half of prime tour time with these 6 shows in 3 cities that wouldn't sell out one show.

    honestly i was dumbfounded as to how this whole tour was announced
    and i really did question why they were doing these petty shows from the very beginning

    everyone should have known these were going to be shorter sets.....
    just common sense

    but we all knew people would complain.....i am anxious to hear what the folks who were actually at the shows have to say

    Honestly I wasn't going to go to these shows because it looked like PJ was opening for Petty. BUT the 10c repeatedly said it was two full sets. My problem isn't with PJ playing with Petty, or the cost, it was with the way the show was advertised, and the way the tour was announced only a week at a time, and how there are still obviously hawaii dates but still no word on them and how there is still no word on how long the tour will run or if there will be any shows in the south. The way the rumor pit questions are answered act like this band is one big mystery/thriller/twiest movie. One big guessing game.

    But there were two full sets. PJ played one, and Petty played one. I haven't seen Petty's setlist yet, but I know PJ did about 17 songs. That, my friend, is a full set. Sure, there were no encores, but you had to know that going into the show.

    Setlist at Pittsburgh = 17 songs.

    Setlist w/ Petty = 17 songs.
