  • What's the reason behind those Q&A bits in DSOTM?
I love the fighting couple in Money. "I was in the right" "He was cruising for a bruising"

Have you listened to The Wall yet?

"You can't have any meat if you don't eat your pudding." Not to mention quite a few, "F**k you, asshole"s.

Not yet. I am sticking with their early albums for now.

  • What's the difference between the original and directors cut of Live at Pompeii?
Can only find the directors cut online in Australia.
    Worth getting?

Yes...it’s the only version I’ve watched and it’s every bit as incredible.

  • Finding it hard to find a copy. Nothing in region 4 codec. Amazon says region free but comments on the item say it is region 2, people have been misled.

    Loving Meddle.
Why did I take so many years to give Pink Floyd a listen :(

  • I love the song 'fearless' so much that I learned how to play it in less than 30 mins.
I should learn more songs in open G tuning. Nice sound.

I found the answer in this great documentary...

The responses are meant to represent 'the dark side of the moon'. Quite clever.

“Fearless” is probably my favorite non-Syd Pink Floyd song. “In My Tree” borrows a bit from it.

I don't like the end of the song though, Liverpool FC.
I didn't know that about In My Tree.
I've always known Nothing As It Seems (one of my favourite PJ songs) is very Pink Floyd, now having listened to Time I can see a similarity.

    Lovely.
I have only listened to the iTunes previews of Atom Heart Mother. It's the next album along with Obscured by Clouds which I want to listen to.

    Addicted to Animals.
    Loving Dogs now.
I listened to The Wall yesterday and it didn't really blow me away. There's a number of songs I like (In The Flesh?, Another Brick in the Wall part 2, Mother, Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell). I said that about DSOTM and now I love it so maybe this one will grow on me.

Yes, young jedi. Yes. Your training is coming along just fine.

The music will soon consume you. Don't skip to any songs. Play the album in its entirety. Headphones will enrich the experience.

The Final Cut also awaits you... but fall in love with The Wall first.
