Anyone want to Jam or Start a Project in the Chicago Area?

Hey everyone. I was just looking to see if anyone wanted to start a project or jam for fun in the Chicago area, or NW suburbs? I sing, play some guitar and have some of my own material. Would love a bassist, drummer, guitarist or vocalist; really anything to just be playing with others.

    Why are drummers and bass players so dang hard to find? I've jammed with a few drummers, and I found them both to be very snobby. It was almost like they were bored or something. Maybe searching for a Rush tribute band or something really, really involved on a drumming level.

    Because everyone wants to play guitar. :D Anyone that has ever tried to put a band together knows drummers and bassists are hard to come by generally speaking. Good luck in your search.

    Makes sense. Maybe that's why I bothered learning a little on bass and drums. No need for bass players or drummers! :lol:

    Hope you can find some cowboys or cowgirls man. I'm lucky to have a few buddies and a cousin who are down to jam with me when we're free. As for the drumming thing, that's my first instrument and I wouldn't consider myself snobby, that made ma laugh lol. I actually like to keep it simple, not a big fan of obnoxious drummers who try to bang out the rest of the band.
    Anyways, good luck, bump to keep rockin', and if you ever move to NF Ontario give me a shout LOL
