Very excited about seeing them next week....going to the Wiltern, and the Los Angeles Theatre.

Also seeing Jeff Tweedy "in conversation" with Jeff Garlin at Largo....should be a fun night of banter!

Front row at the San Diego show! I've seen Tweedy before (as part of Golden Smog), but never Wilco. Very much looking forward to it.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Going to the Wiltern and Arlington Theatre. I had amazing 8th row tickets for the LA Theatre but realized I was going out of town that weekend.

I was hoping they'd play Outtasite for us in Tempe (no go)... But man... such a great set!

By the time they finished Impossible Germany I told my buddy that I could have left happy at that point. After that it was just gravy...

Besides PJ, I think I look forward to Wilco shows the most. They are a close second!

I'd gone on their website and requested Radio Cure for a friend who was in the crowd (her favorite song...she's going through some rocky stuff)... Didn't happen, but Hummingbird put one helluva smile on her face!

...and of course, they couldn't play AZ and NOT play Hotel Arizona... There would have been hell to pay!

My first time seeing Wilco live... I'll go back again and again and again! Such an awesome show! Can't say enough great things about it!

I was pumped to see them for the first time in October and they played a pretty enjoyable set full of songs I'm into, but it was a long way from PJ imo. I was a bit let down from the really great reviews the get around here. Pretty cool and I'll check them out again as I get into more of their music, but I just don't think they put on a top tier show all around.

Of course they do not touch PJ live... but they keep it real with their shows, have so many good songs, and seem like a band that is still all about the music after all these years. I've always thought they were similar bands in that aspect while still being two very unique bands...

    in my best RM22 voice:

    WRONG!

(Wilco opened for REM at the Bowl in the mid-90s)

In any case, I am super-excited for this show..one of the first dark sunday nights of Autumn at the Hollywood Bowl!

Considering the Wilco/Blitzen Trapper show coming up here in SLC.

I saw Blitzen Trapper last month in a small theatre and they blew the fucking roof off the place. I'd go for Blitzen Trapper alone, but I'm sure Wilco wouldn't disappoint.
