I have both MP3 and FLAC boots.. I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between the 256 kbps MP3s and the FLAC converted to WAVE.. I'm using fancy Bose computer speakers.

People rave about how much better they are..

I guess its time for a hearing aid..

  • according to science man isn't supposed to be able to hear any difference.

doesn't mean that there is no difference, but it is allegedly imperseptable.

    i dunno.
i never sat down and did a side by side.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

I can understand having FLAC for future purposes of putting the show in a new format, BUT, you're right,.. scientifically speaking, man cannot hear the differeance at this bitrate,.. psychologically speaking, "there's a HUGE difference" to some.

I've never been able to tell the difference either. The mp3s converted to wav sound A-okay to me and it's saving me a buttload of cash.

I htink unless you have a technical ear for those things, you can't tell the difference. I certainly can't tell the difference. Still with MP3's, cheaper :D
