My goodness Shawn is amazing. Listening to the diamond hand right now, and just absolutely love it. The rest of the solo stuff is great too, along with the Brad albums. I have Satchel's "the family" album, which I believe was also produced by Stone Gossard (Stone plays in Brad for those that don't know, and want to get into the world of Brad). Need to get some Pigionhead albums, but man Shawn's stuff is just massive amounts of Awesome.

that he does my friend  . that soulful croon embedded in his vocals is just amazing. I am still heartbroken I missed Brad and BOH in Tulsa a few years ago. Had to attend a funeral so couldn't make the show. I really hope to see Shawn Smith with Brad or Otherwise live someday soon.

There's some new stuff up on Shawn's Bandcamp page right now - 2 albums and a 4-track song, all available for 'Name Your Price' download

So The Heart Can See (original album master)
This was recorded in the fall of 2000 and was intended to be my second solo album. Once finished it was put on the shelf . Since then the songs have been released in various forms over the years. I just found the original master of the record so i thought i would release it as it was meant to be.

    Thunder on the Horizon
4 track cassette recording, sometime in 2002.

Once again Shawn is being way too good to us :D

Beautiful tribute video from Lance Mercer:

Here's a video I put together for his memorial, thanks to all that contributed content, and for allowing me to use it.
