First off, Release is always exceptionally good in Chicago, probobly because of Ed personal ties to home..
In Chicago '06, Ed sings, "Oh dear John. Can you see me now.".. Is it safe to assume John is Ed's real father?

He sang it for the Toronto show in 03 the same way (referring to 'John'), and I think it may have been the anniversary of the incident...
I think I'd also read that he formed some close ties with his family (not sure why his family out of the nine, but anyway...)
**EDIT Of course.. Johhny Ramone (just read the previous post)... that'd be it.
correct.
