I got this pick at a Tres Mtn showand don't know if is Mike or Jeffs. Can anybody help?

    As a bass player I used to use a pick for about half the songs we used to play.

    Depends on the situation. I use a pick for really fast stuff or if I'm looking for a certain tone.

    Paul McCartney used a pick on everything, which kinda shocked me. I always attributed it to a certain bass sound, and not something so beautifully smooth a groove-y as his bass playing.

    He usually uses picks but it can be tough to tell at times because when he IS playing without a pick; he's usually playing thumbstyle. He holds his hand kind of tight too.
