I wish I could go back in a time machine and ask the record company people to please just let Janis keep here band.  Richie Havens once wrote about how they made her break from Big Brother and the Holding Company and work with the band that Herb Alpert put together and how that broke her heart. 

Or at least just go back in time and catch one of her shows!  Sure wish I had done that.
