...and on a sad side note, The Troubadour, little legendary venue where the Doors and other icons played here in LA, may be no more after this motherfucking virus.
No more Troubadour? Oh no!I hope they can somehow manage to get up and running again after this is all over.
My last live show (Missio) was there.
OH man! To be so close to the pulse of it all. Very cool, Hedo!

Kraftwerk founder Florian Schneider dies at 73. Florian Schneider, co-founder of highly influential electronic pop group Kraftwerk, has died at the age of 73. The German quartet set the template for synthesiser music in the 1970s and 80s with songs like Autobahn and The Model.
I saw the band once in DC @ The 9:30 Club, they played a fantastic show that was so different from the usual concert setup.https://youtu.be/SMLubLuMTeE

I just read that Jerry Stiller passed away at 92. I can remember his intro on the R30 World Tour that he did for RUSH. The band making fun of themselves and Stiller doing his part in bringing his comedy to the show.
In this video he comes in around 1:52 mark, wanting to hear his favorite Rush song about traveling the world in search of the best weed....the song A Passage To Bangkok.https://youtu.be/PCycsw1LHbU

A hybrid between Waylon and and Eddie doesn't get much better than this for me.

Don't know if this has been posted before, but someone did a cool mashup of Eddie Vedder and David Bowie singing Comfortably Numb. Their editing job was fairly seamless. That David Gilmour guitar solo almost makes me weep with joy

Good ol Johnny Cash.
I recently read a book about Cash called A Heartbeat and a Guitar: The Making of Bitter Tears. Inspired me to pick up a copy of his great and under-recognized LP, Bitter Tears. Great stuff!
