That is one of my favorite CC&R songs!
I came upon this, and to say I AM FUCKING FLOORED is an understatement.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UoLkFQlmMI

First time I saw Tool, Patton closed out the show on the drums (I almost capitalized that!) with Carey.Jason P said:

I just love Pee Wee.
(that's not what she said!)
My husband and I were talking earlier about a bunch of heavy shit. Music brought into the conversation - how there are times when it just...doesn't work. Can't fill that void - so frustrating.
And other times, like a needed injection.
The latter is one of those times.
Riding this wave of my beloved tunes, and balancing on the musical sufboard like a motherfucker!
(ironically, PJ's acoustic version of Alive here right now - so so perfect)0 -
Ha! Yes, Jason. That, too, perfect.
Gene reminds me a bit of Bill Murray. Something in the eyes - sadness, wisdom, seeing, but still laughing at the absurdity of life...even better, contributing to it.0 -

I think my kitten may be a gummy bear!
Bouncing here and everywhere! High adventure that's beyond compare!

I love how the blue hue goes with that gorgeousness (though I could be blind and still see it, on top of its aural and mental impact).
It's an emotional song for me, beloved too.
Might hit that up shortly but for now, old Elton here.
DAMMIT, LISTEN TO ME GOOD!
A mad hatter amongst Mona Lisa's.

Fuck it.
Funny to post this loveliness in particular with that preface, but again...fuck it.
Hope, in its various forms and paths, is far from lost. Takes a bit for me to get that, at times. But - it always comes.
And...will flee again, then return.
(typically when it's good and fucking ready)

Ha! Could be - and there is an awesome version out there of The Who covering the song.
I've retreated (re-treated?) to this opposite end, for now.
