My husband and I were talking earlier about a bunch of heavy shit. Music brought into the conversation - how there are times when it just...doesn't work. Can't fill that void - so frustrating.
And other times, like a needed injection.
The latter is one of those times.

Gene reminds me a bit of Bill Murray. Something in the eyes - sadness, wisdom, seeing, but still laughing at the absurdity of life...even better, contributing to it.
