A ten club member buys a back pack for 80 bucks. After a month this individual sells them in this forum for 400 bucks. This club has really turned into a joke. Welcome to the new ebay. :D

    Why the hate?

    I think the frenzy for all the merchandise is just one small part of people's passion for the band. After all, if the music sucked no one would be here and no one would be shelling out $400 bucks for a backpack.

    But you have to know the rules...

    If someone buys a packback, and sells it a week later for $800....
    Then everyone here considers him an ass.....

    BUT...

    If you buy a packpack, and come on here a month later, with some HORSESHIT story about how you need the money to feed the homeless, or to buy catfood.......

    Then people think you are an angel and it is ok to sell the packback......

    That drama is a whole 'nuther thread - if people want to sell stuff then just sell it. Don't need any made up stories about Grandma needing a thumb transplant so I have to sell my benny vinyl.

    it is hilarious that some people are asking for binaural, riot act, etc. for the pj20 vinyl which is limited, but a month old. to each their own. i can't help but laugh when i see one of those posts, though. i missed the sale, but traded some bootlegs & got a sealed one. anytime i trade i don't go by "ebay" or "market value", i go by what it cost me. try to sell something for those prices at a used record store & they'll laugh you out the door! sure, they'll sell it to you for that much, but you'll get a 1/4 (if you're lucky) of what you paid for it. if somebody's willing to pay, though, it's fair game. this is the main reason i wish that they would just repress all the vinyl, posters, etc. they've brought back a few classic shirts, so why not bring out other stuff? like the vault #1 cd's? the deluxe boxes are great, but if they decide not to do anymore, does that mean no more vinyl reissues? the market is great for those right now. lots of bands are reissuing vinyl. it would save everybody money & headaches. notice that everything on the monkeywrench label is still on vinyl? pj20 being the exception, but it shares it's label with epic. i refuse to pay 1000 bucks for a benaroya or 200-300 for binaural. that money isn't going in pjs' or 10cs' pockets. i did pay a lot for something extremely rare recently, but i'm ok with it. which is basically what i'm saying- it's up to the buyer.

    I would never sell for a cash profit - conversly - I guess I would pay more than something is worth so I can have it. Supply/Demand - Free Market - Value-VRS-Worth - Need-VRS-Want. I guess this is our world - as it extends even beyond the 10C.

    my question is that, if something is "not for resale", why is it ok to resell it here... not only for the original price but for much much more?

    You can do what you want with youre stuff, some might buy a 10C backpack just to trade with something else they want, so let them do that.

    I just traded a MSG II 2010 poster for a sealed Riot Act LP, I like the poster thats why I bought it in 2010, but a PJ FAN who was at the show had this poster as HOLY GRAIL and we traded. I'm happy with a VINYL and he is with a poster.

If it gets you that upset, then just ignore the post. You can find a handful of people that are "fair" and a handful that are not.


    My stupid ass just bought an EV wallet for a ridiculious price, but I wanted it. I'm sure it won't be the last time I do so.
